A little sister for Geers Offset, Geers Digiprint
Geers Digiprint intends to specialize in high-quality digital printwork, both in full colour and in black and white.

Heidelberg Digimaster
Towards the end of October, Geers Digiprint will take off in the building at the Eekhoutdriesstraat. The machinery will consist of a Heidelberg Digimaster and a Kodak Nexpress S3000.

In addition to the digital printing presses, we have also invested in binding material for small editions. This comprises stitching, binding and sewing.
Kodak Nexpress
Geers Offset is the first European printer to use the new Kodak Nexpress S3000, which has a 5-colour configuration and a UV-coating unit.
Thus, we will have the possibility to print four colours and pantones, and we will be able to apply a UV-coat on-line.

This machine will allow us to print high-quality art books, as well as variable manuals in editions of 1 up to 500 copies.
We will be able to use the same quality of paper as with the other offset presses. The weight will vary from 60 to 350 grams.

The option between a stochastic and a conventional screen makes this machine a worthy supplement to offset printing.
Moreover, it will be connected to the Heidelberg Image Control. This will guarantee that the calibration of the color management can be made in the same way as with the offset presses.

This allows us to do contract proofing on the printing paper.
