| Recently published Art Books
Quite recently, we had the honour and the pleasure
to print the art books of two well-known international artists
of Ghent origin, namely Jan Desmarets and Gabriel Meiring.
Gabriël
Meiring uses a specific method which consists
of painting other colours over gold leaf.
 Thanks
to the most recent techniques with regard to photogravure
and printing, the same process could be applied on our printing
presses. As a matter of fact, our ten-colour press was put
in line in order to print reproductions in eight colours.
As the used techniques are extremely innovative,
we presumed that our chances would be considerable to win
a prize at the Award. Subsequently, our presentiment proved
to be right.
In fact, we won the Golden Palm in the Catalogues
Category.
